Troop 161 meets weekly on Monday's from 7 PM to 8:15 PM. There are various topics which focus on merit badges, planning community & conservation projects, and camping activities.
Our meeting location is normally in Niwot at the Niwot Hall (formerly known as Left Hand Grange).
Troop 161 plans monthly camp-outs and performs service projects throughout the school year. We learn "leave-no-trace" camping and practice cooking in the outdoors. We lead service projects for our community and conservation projects to help protect and preserve the outdoors for others to enjoy.
A week long summer adventure in the Rocky Mountains awaits you, when you sign up with the troop to attend one of the local scout camps. Summer of 2025 Troop 161B/G will be attending Camp Alexander. Â Take part in many different merit badge adventures as both electives or on your "Trail to Eagle": BDSR Merit Badges.
